Beacon Communities LLC is a multifamily housing development, investment and management company. We develop and manage multifamily communities and presently own and/or manage thirty-four communities that provide over 9,000 residences throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland. In addition, we are actively engaged in third-party management. Our communities range from a luxury, historic rehabilitation that serves the academic community in New Haven, Connecticut to a nearly 1000-apartment affordable housing development in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, that Beacon initially developed in 1968.

We pride ourselves on our willingness to undertake challenging and innovative developments, including the rehabilitation of two historic buildings in downtown Haverhill, Massachusetts, into 178 rental homes serving a mixed-income population; an intergenerational rental and for-sale community serving families with foster and adoptive children and senior ‘foster’ grandparents in Easthampton, Massachusetts; and the rehabilitation of a vacant historic school building into a mixed-income rental community in the town center of Sharon, Massachusetts

We are proud of our ability to form joint ventures with an array of partners including landowners, community groups, colleges and equity investors, as well as our ability to work cooperatively with public officials and concerned citizens.

Beacon consists of four operational divisions. Beacon Communities Development LLC is our new construction and rehabilitation development arm. Beacon Communities Investments LLC acquires existing properties, raises debt and equity, and provides investor services. Beacon Residential Management Limited Partnership provides residential property management services. Beacon Concepts provides interior design services.
